Dance Floor Kids Holiday Nights
Lovely Holiday Nights
Depending on the vacation (and on your home life) the best part of a holiday can be the holiday nights. This can be true whether you are a stay in or go out type. The key is to figure out what kind of holiday nights trip your trigger and tailor your holidays around your travel and holiday type. Are you a clubber or a homebody, an early bird or a night owl, a crowd lover or lover of small groups? All of these contribue to how, where, and what you do with your holiday nights.
Holiday nights out
It's not that hard, with preparation, to enjoy holiday nights out on the town, at the movies, on a date, or just driving around touring the sights. Wherever you go there is probably plenty to enjoy, whether it's the natural beauty of the stars and beaches late at night, or the lights of a town, or the inside of a fancy hotel. Just be sure that you have some idea of what you are doing and how feasible it is (or have a backup plan or two) to make sure you don't end up lost, overpaying, or bored out of your mind.
Holiday nights in
I am a big holiday nights in kind of person (except maybe for going out of the door just to see the stars, or the beach, or the moon, or something like that). I like to curl up on a couch and read, to write for hours at a time, to spend half the night talking, to play and laugh and have fun, but in the smaller, safer environment of "in." These kind of holiday nights requires much less planning, unless you are trying to plan holiday nights in for a larger group of people; then you might want to have some sort of a plan so your night in isn't a night of everyone wishing they were out.
Or best of both worlds holiday nights
But then, it is always fun to throw a little spontaneity into the mix. Say you've planned a holiday in which most of the holiday nights are spent in, it might be fun to throw a night or two out into the mix, just to mix it up. Or if you are planning on going out every night, why not take one of those holiday nights and just have a night in for a change? Whatever you do, make sure your holiday nights are as enjoyable and memorable as your holidays the rest of the time. That's the mark of a great vacation.
